National Launching on TRAIN LOKAL: Empowering LGUs for Localized Skills Training and Benchmarking Activity
This October 13, 2026, TESDA will formally launch TRAIN LOKAL, its flagship framework empowering Local Government Units (LGUs) to lead localized, demand-driven technical-vocational training (TVET). Hosted in partnership with the Provincial Government of Tarlac and the Tarlac Center for Learning and Skills Success (TCLASS), the national launch goes beyond a ceremonial event. It will feature a full operational showcase—giving local chief executives and LGU officials hands-on benchmarking, technical guidance, and a live look at how TCLASS successfully manages its training programs, facility operations, and job-linkage services. Through TRAIN LOKAL, TESDA and partner agencies aim to give LGUs the tools they need to build sustainable, high-impact skills training in their own communities.
